SAC Championship

The eleventh annual Food Lion Spring Sports Festival will be held April 20-25, 2004 in the Rock Hill, SC and surrounding areas.

The festival combines the league’s six spring tournaments (baseball, softball, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, men’s golf and women’s golf) into an exciting athletic atmosphere that encompasses the entire communities.

In addition, the SAC Spring Sports Awards Program and Banquet will be held Wednesday, April 21at 7:30 p.m. in the Charlotte Knights Stadium picnic shelter.

The baseball tournament will be held at the Charlotte Knights Stadium and at Winthrop University, while the softball tournament will be played at the Cherry Park Fields.

The men’s and women’s tennis tournaments will be contested at Winthrop University's tennis courts (Rock Hill).

The men’s golf tournament will be played at the Regent Park Golf Club, while the women’s tournament will be played at the Fort Mill Golf Club.

For complete results during the Festival, check back often.

The Festival concept was initiated in 1994 by the league’s Athletic Directors. It was held in Salisbury, NC for the first six years, before moving to Clinton and Newberry.

For all competition, see Master Schedule.
