Conference Men's Tennis Championship: Presbyterian Captures Third
Straight Title
The Presbyterian Blue Hose captured their third consecutive Food Lion
South Atlantic Conference men's tennis tournament championship as they
defeated Carson-Newman 5-0 in the finals Friday afternoon at the
Knoxville Racquet Club, moved there due to inclement weather. In
semifinal matches leading up to the title contest, Carson-Newman beat
Tusculum 5-1, and Presbyterian defeated Mars Hill, also 5-1.
