Catawba's Haverty Earns Women's Golf All-America Honor

Catawba freshman Paige Haverty (Greenville, NC) has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association honorable mention All-America team. It was announced at the NCAA II National Tournament Awards Banquet at Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

Haverty, of Conley High School, is the first female golfer from Catawba to earn an All-America honor.

She finished the season with a school-record 78.68 stroke average over her 10 tournaments. She earned one win and had seven top five finishes. Of her 22 rounds, she failed to break 80 only five times.
