Catawba's Haverty 28th at NCAA Women's Golf Regional

LAKELAND, FL – Catawba College’s Paige Haverty (Greenville, NC) finished 28th at the 2005 NCAA II South Region Women’s Golf Tournament which concluded on Tuesday. The three-round event was held at the 6,079-yard, par-72 Lone Palm Golf Club.

Haverty struggled in her opening round with a 90, but rebounded with rounds of 78 and 81 to finish on 249. It was Haverty’s third straight trip as an individual at regional play.
