Mars Hills' Cromer Named D2Football.com National Player of the Week

Liberty, MO - Chris Cromer was selected as the D2Football.com national special teams player of the week. Cromer is a 5-9, 170-pound junior punter from Asheville, NC (Erwin HS).

The punting of Chris Cromer was a bright spot in Mars Hill's 13-6 loss to St. Augustine's. Cromer, a junior punter/kicker, booted eight punts during the game for an average of 40.6 yards per punt. Five of his punts landed inside the 20 yard line with three landing inside the five yard line.
