Broadcast Times Announced for First Time

ROCK HILL, SC Saturday nights football game between Carson-Newman College and Newberry College will be the first televised game of the season under the Time Warner Cable/South Atlantic Conference television package. Kickoff at Newberry Colleges Setzler Field is set for 7 p.m. Over the next seven days, the game will be broadcast at least 14 times on various Time Warner Cable outlets throughout North and South Carolina, as well as 11 Southeastern states on Comcast Sports South. A complete listing of channels and times for this weeks game is below. Check with your local cable provider to verify dates and times as they are subject to change. Ryan Rose, who has broadcast three SAC basketball tournament championships, will handle the play-by-play. Soupy Campbell, a veteran radio and television football commentator, will handle the color commentary. Also, the SAC Football Preseason Show, produced by Time Warner Cable, continues to air on various Time Warner Cable outlets.
