L-R’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council Announces Canned Food Drive For Saturday’s Men’s Basketball Game
One dollar off general admission ticket for every two cans of food given

Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne College’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council and the Salvation Army are teaming up for a canned food drive at Saturday’s home basketball game against USC Upstate. The Bears and the Spartans will tip-off at 7 p.m., inside Shuford Gymnasium.

Anyone will receive one dollar off their general admission ticket for every two cans of food given. Tickets are $5.00 per person and $3.00 for kids 12 and under.

The Salvation Army is sponsoring the canned food drive for needy families just in time for the Thanksgiving and holiday seasons.
