The South Atlantic Conference Web site has the following layout structure:

The Home Page will be the initial page viewed. It contains the first sentence or two of the latest press releases, each with a link to the full story. Also, for sports currently underway, quick links are provided taking viewers directly to items of interest, e.g., standings, players of the week, etc.

The SAC Organization is the area related to conference operations. Sub-tier pages include:

• Overview - includes mailing address, phone and FAX numbers and a brief overview.
• Staff - lists personnel whose have daily influence on SAC activities.
• History - provides the background of the conference from its origin.
• Meeting schedule - gives conference-related events, along with dates, locations, and time.
• Legislative information related to the goverance of the conference, including the SAC Constitution and By-Laws and the by-laws for each of the sponsored sports.
• Conference Special Awards - includes descriptions and honorees for the following:

• Presidents Awards
• Athletic Excellence Awards
• Scholar Athletes
• Athletes of the Year
• Hall of Fame

The Championships is an area that has all sports with the current year's champion of the sport, or when/how a champion will be determined. Another page of this area has past champions listed for each sport.

The Membership area provides "quick facts" about each of the members. Items appearing here include: addresses, contact information, school president, nicknames, school colors, key athletic department staff, sport head coaches, major facilities, and links to the school and athletic department Web sites.

The SAC Sponsored Sports is a page that provides links to areas for each sponsored-sport.

Within each sport area are pages or links to other pages (or Web sites) that contain the following information:

• Standings of teams
• Scores
• Composite schedules
• Player recognition, i.e., players-of-the-week
• Statistics
• National polls
• Record Book

The Archived Press Releases and Media Outlet area includes the following items:

• Press releases issued by the conference.
• Links to Web sites of newspapers that are published within the region served by the SAC.
• Conference directories and sport media guides.

The Related WWW Sites page provides links to Web sites of organizations that have some relevance to conference activities. These can be oversight organizations, various coaches' associations, etc.

The Sports Festivals area provides an overview of the fall and spring championship competitions, where they are being held, and a link to the host school's Web site for current scoring information.

Those Special Events as sponsored by the South Atlantic Conference are provided in this area of the Web site.

The increasingly important Student-Athlete Advisory Council has its own area on the Conference Web site. It is here that information related to SAAC activities can be found.

Sponsors who assist the SAC in some fashion are spotlighted in this area.
