Women's Tennis Championship: Presbyterian Claims Second Consecutive
Title
The #23 Presbyterian Blue Hose claimed their second consecutive Food
Lion South Atlantic Conference Tournament womens tennis
championship as they defeated second-seeded Tusculum 5-1 Saturday
afternoon. In semifinal matches leading up to the title contest,
Presbyterian beat Carson-Newman 5-1, and Tusculum defeated Catawba,
also 5-1.

Presbyterian College sophomore Lisa Moyer (Florence, SC) won her
match at No. 6 singles to lead the top seeded Lady Blue Hose to a 5-4
victory over the No. 2 seeded Tusculum College Pioneers in the
championship match of the 2005 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference
Women's Tennis Championship held Saturday afternoon on the Templeton
Courts at Presbyterian College.

SAC Regular Season Women's Tennis Title with 7-2 win Over Mars Hill
Mars Hill's women's tennis team lost to visiting Presbyterian College
this afternoon at the Hart Tennis Complex by a score of 7-2. With the
win, PC wins the SAC regular season title with a record of 7-0 in the
league. The Blue Hose are 15-4 overall.

Women's Tennis Regular Season Title With Sweep of Mars Hill
The 21st-ranked Tusculum College women's tennis team claimed its
first-ever outright South Atlantic Conference championship with a 9-0
sweep of Mars Hill College Thursday afternoon at the Nichols Tennis
Complex. It is the third straight league championship for the
undefeated Pioneers.
